On 21st June, Cristina Suero García defended her thesis entitled The moderating role of women’s educational attainment in shaping fertility behaviours in Spain for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy in Social Sciences at the Carlos III University in Madrid.
The commission was formed by Alberto del Rey, president (University of Salamanca), Clara Cortina, secretary (Pompeu Fabra University, Barcelona) and Marta Domínguez-Folgueras, member (Science Po, Paris).
Teresa Castro-Martín and Teresa Martín García (Spanish National Research Council, CSIC) were the supervisors of this work.
Cristina received the highest grade of ‘Sobresaliente CUM LAUDE’.
